We partnered with the Chicago Tribune to design and develop the digital experience for RedEye, their hyper-local lifestyle and event-driven media brand. Tasked with creating a sophisticated web portal, we delivered a fully customized WordPress multisite environment—giving each Chicago neighborhood its own dynamic blog and localized content stream. Our work spanned intuitive UI/UX design, API integrations for event data and mapping, and a layered information architecture built to scale. The result was an interactive, city-wide platform where users could explore neighborhood events, stories, and personalities through a seamless digital interface. RedEye became a go-to destination for young Chicagoans and urban explorers, thanks to its smart functionality, high-performance structure, and compelling design—solidifying its role as a key digital initiative within the Tribune ecosystem.
